American Maple — Cabinet Grade (Acer saccharum)
American Hard Maple is one of North America's most versatile and enduring hardwoods — a clean, consistent timber with a fine, even grain and a pale creamy-white to light golden tone that makes it a perennial favourite for furniture, flooring, worktops, and musical instruments. It is hard, dense, and exceptionally stable, with a smooth surface that takes finishes beautifully.
This piece is Cabinet Grade — a practical, excellent-value grade that may include some natural character such as minor knots, grain variation, or colour contrast. These features are entirely natural and do not affect the structural integrity or workability of the timber. Cabinet grade is ideal for projects where character is welcome or where the piece will be cut down and the character marks can be worked around.
