Zebrano (Microberlinia brazzavillensis)
Zebrano is one of the most visually striking timbers available — its pale golden background is dramatically marked with dark brown, almost black streaks that run across the grain in bold, irregular patterns. This particular blank stands out even within the species: the grain lines are exceptionally tight and closely packed, giving it an unusually refined, almost textile-like surface quality that will reward careful turning and finishing.
From the late John Boddy's personal stock — old-growth material of exceptional character sourced when quality like this was still accessible.
