Yellowheart (Euxylophora paraensis)

Yellowheart — also known as Pau Amarelo — is one of the most vividly coloured hardwoods available. Its brilliant canary-yellow heartwood is striking and immediate, making it a favourite for decorative work, inlay, and accent pieces. Dense, hard, and with a fine even texture, it machines and finishes beautifully. The colour mellows slightly with age and UV exposure, developing a rich golden tone.
