Swiss Pear Bowl Blank

Swiss Pear is a beautifully refined European hardwood with an exceptionally fine, even grain and a warm, honey-pink tone that deepens to a rich amber over time. It has a smooth, almost silky texture that makes it a delight to work on the lathe — turning cleanly, sanding to a superb finish, and taking oils and waxes to a lustrous result. One of the most prized fruitwoods available to woodturners, Swiss Pear is as rewarding to work as it is to look at.
