Pippy Oak is a highly prized character grade of English Oak (Quercus robur), distinguished by its extraordinary figure — dense clusters of small knots and burr-like formations known as ‘pips’, created by suppressed buds within the tree. No two boards are alike, making each piece a genuinely unique work of natural art. Warm golden-brown in colour with the same bold grain and silver ray flecks as standard English Oak, but with dramatically more visual character.
