Pale Moon / Black & White Ebony Ring Blanks

Pale Moon Ebony — also known as Black and White Ebony — is a visually dramatic timber prized by makers for its striking contrast of pale cream sapwood and jet-black heartwood streaking. No two pieces are alike, making each ring blank a genuinely unique starting point for your work. The flat-sawn orientation means the grain runs across the length of the blank, giving you bold, graphic figure on the face of your finished ring.

It turns cleanly on the lathe with sharp tools, holds fine detail well, and finishes to a naturally lustrous surface that needs little more than a light oil or wax to bring out its full character.
