Ovangkol Pen Blank

A beautifully figured pen blank crafted from Ovangkol (Guibourtia ehie), a West African hardwood also known as Amazique or Mozambique. Closely related to Bubinga, Ovangkol is prized by pen turners for its rich golden-brown tones, striking dark striping, and excellent finishing qualities — producing pens with a bold, sophisticated character.

• Grain: Interlocked to wavy, producing a pronounced ribbon or stripe figure — particularly striking on quartersawn faces
