Wood Characteristics

• Colour: Pale cream to milky white, sometimes with a very subtle pinkish or yellowish tint — a clean, light timber
• Grain: Fine and straight to slightly interlocked with a smooth, even texture
• Hardness: Moderately hard — good durability with a pleasant, balanced feel in the hand
• Finish: Sands and polishes to a silky smooth surface; accepts dyes and finishes beautifully for decorative effects
