Masasa Pen Blank

A warm and attractive pen blank crafted from Masasa (Brachystegia spiciformis), a widespread and well-known southern African hardwood found across the miombo woodlands of Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique. Masasa is a characterful timber with pleasant warm tones and a natural rustic appeal — producing pens with an authentic African character.

Wood Characteristics

• Colour: Warm golden-brown to light reddish-brown, often with subtle darker streaking and a natural warmth
• Grain: Straight to slightly interlocked with a moderately fine, even texture
