European Ash (Fraxinus excelsior)
European Ash is one of the most versatile and well-loved native hardwoods in Britain and Europe — a timber of real strength, flexibility, and clean, attractive appearance. Its pale cream to light brown tones with a prominent, open grain give it a fresh, contemporary look that works beautifully in both natural and stained finishes. Long favoured by furniture makers, turners, and craftspeople, it is one of the most rewarding hardwoods to work with.
