Masur Birch is one of Scandinavia’s most treasured figured timbers. Formed by a unique combination of genetic mutation and insect activity within the Birch tree, it produces an extraordinary pattern of dark eyes and swirling, flame-like figure set against a pale cream to golden background. The ‘curly’ figure adds an additional rippling, three-dimensional quality that shimmers as the light catches it — a truly exceptional turning blank.

This is a one of a kind piece — MBS02 — photographed individually so you can see exactly what you are buying. The piece you see is the piece you receive — no surprises, no substitutions.
