Chestnut CA Superglue – 50g

When you need to bond two surfaces quickly and efficiently, cyanoacrylate superglue is hard to beat. Chestnut Products' CA Superglues are available in three viscosities to suit every application — from wicking into hairline cracks to filling large voids. Thin

Very low viscosity for capillary action — ideal when you want the glue to penetrate deep into small cracks or wick into assembled parts post-assembly. Best for very close-fitting parts and smooth, even surfaces.

• Dries in seconds

Medium

General purpose — stays where you put it. Gives you enough time to line everything up before the bond sets. Good for fairly smooth surfaces.

• Dries in up to 20 seconds

Thick

For gap filling — ideal for sealing cracks in timber, and can be mixed with sawdust for a natural-looking fill. Slower drying to allow time for positioning.

• Dries in up to 60 seconds when applied thickly

Tips & Notes

• Use Accelerator for Superglues to reduce drying time to less than 2 seconds. Use sparingly to avoid a white bloom on the surface.
• Full cure and maximum strength requires 24 hours.
• Low temperatures can reduce cure time.
• For longest shelf life, store away from warmth — best kept at +5°C.
