Cherry Spindle Blank

American Black Cherry is a fine-grained hardwood that turns cleanly and finishes beautifully. Freshly cut timber is usually a warm pinkish-brown, gradually developing a richer reddish-brown or amber colour through exposure to light.

Its smooth, even texture makes it an excellent choice for both functional and decorative spindle turning. It cuts well with sharp tools, holds crisp detail and can be polished to a smooth, natural-looking finish.

Ideal for tool handles, finials, gavels, wands, knobs, candlesticks and other spindle-turned projects.
