Cherry Bowl Blank

American cherry is a warm, reddish-brown hardwood that deepens in colour over time, developing a rich patina with age and exposure to light. It typically has a fine, straight grain with occasional small knots or subtle figuring that adds natural character. It turns beautifully on the lathe — easy to work, a pleasure to sand, and a favourite for both beginners and experienced turners. Oil and wax finishes enhance its natural warmth exceptionally well.
