The Cafe Society acrylic pen blank from Chestnut Products — warm cough-candy orange tones that are as distinctive as they are eye-catching. Cast from Poly(methyl methacrylate), no two blanks are exactly the same.

Extremely hard-wearing and great fun to turn. Popular for pens but equally suited to cutlery handles, lace bobbins, finials, and more.

Turning Tips

• Keep chisels sharp
• When drilling, remove small amounts at a time

Finishing

• Sand to a smooth finish
• Apply Burnishing Cream for a bright gloss
• Follow with Microcrystalline Wax to keep pristine and fingerprint-free
