Bubinga is a spectacular Central African hardwood prized by craftsmen the world over for its rich reddish-brown to deep purple-tinged heartwood, interlocked grain, and exceptional natural lustre. Dense, hard, and highly stable, it works beautifully with both hand and machine tools and finishes to a superb surface — a genuine showstopper in any project.

This piece is part of a small parcel of old stock sourced from John Boddy's Timber Yard — one of the most respected names in British hardwood. John Boddy's was a byword for quality and provenance for decades, and this stock reflects that heritage. A rare opportunity to acquire properly seasoned, characterful Bubinga from a legendary source.
