Bocote is one of the most visually dramatic timbers you can put on a lathe. Its golden-brown base is overlaid with bold, swirling dark brown to black streaks and figuring that vary from piece to piece — no two rings will ever look the same. Dense, smooth, and a pleasure to turn, it produces rings with a lustrous finish that showcases the striking grain to full effect.

Dimensions (approx): 40 x 40 x 15mm
Grain orientation: Running up through the 15mm height
